OUR HISTORY
Jose was born and raised in Kerala, India. He came to know the Lord at a very young age. He has been active in various
ministries in India and is zealous about the Lord’s work. Jose comes from a family of ministers. His parents, Pastor & Mrs. K.C. Daniel
have been in the ministry for 55 years. They are still pastoring in Kerala, India. Most of his siblings and their families are in the ministry as well.
Jose has a Masters degree in Applied Physics from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Freda (Shiney) was born and brought up in Texas. Her parents, Joseph & Thankamma Philip traveled from Kerala, India to the United States
in 1974 with a dream to provide their family a better opportunity. Freda was brought up in a very loving and God-fearing home. In December 2007, her mom
went home to be with the Lord. Since then, her passion and drive is to give her time, effort, work –all that she is and has – to His service. Freda has a
Masters degree in Health Studies with a focus in Community Health from Texas Woman’s University.
Jose and Freda were married in 1996 and God has blessed them with two children, Hannah & Noah. They are grateful for His blessings
and are mindful of the mercy and grace He has poured out on their lives. Their life-long commitment is to live a life of service. Since 2001, Compassion
for the Nations is making a difference in the lives of the poor.
